A Special Interest Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management

Join SMA on Wednesday, September 13 at OneDigital Health and Benefits in Farmington for a breakfast meeting with John McTighe of Strategic Information Resources on how applicants beat the system. This presentation will review common background screening methods used by employers, and the loopholes applicants take advantage of to beat the background check.  Background screening is an intricate process, and it can be fallible without the right considerations in place.  The presentation will provide employers with an awareness of these intricacies, along with best practice suggestions that can help employers secure their background screening process to hire top talent. This meeting will add to the attendees’ knowledge in several of the functional areas included in Workforce Planning and Employment, Business Management and Strategy, and Human Resource Development.
