Building Campus to Career Partnerships

Join The Staffing Management Association (SMA) and The Connecticut Career Consortium (CCC) for a panel discussion on best practices to attract and employ the state’s college students. College relations, recruiting and hiring has evolved through the pandemic, shifting to a “new normal” of virtual connections. This is your opportunity to hear from area employers and college career services representatives on how to build your brand on campus to recruit the top talent of tomorrow!

During the webinar, the panel will discuss:

  • Responses to current employment trends from both colleges and companies
  • How to create successful internships and co-op programs
  • Ways employers can demonstrate a true commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion beyond statements and recruiting initiatives
  • How to develop effective partnerships with college career centers both in-person and virtually
  • Best practices for effective job postings, on-site/virtual recruiting, student referrals, resume database, career fairs and more!

CCC provides state-wide leadership, advocacy, and education in support of career and experiential learning for college students and alumni.  The CT Career Consortium is made up of 17 college & university career centers working together to make Connecticut and the Northeast a great place to start your career. CCC offers opportunities for strategic partnerships, best practice sharing, and professional development for its members. Learn more about CCC
