ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Ronald M. Backer is the Talent Development Director for Global Atlantic Financial Group. In this role, he is responsible for leadership development, the 360 process and executive coaching, development planning, change management training and consultation, curriculum design and development, and the overall strategy of learning in the organization.
Ron has previously held roles in Human Resources at Voya Financial, the Travelers Companies and consulted with small privately held boutique style HR consulting firms.
Ron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven. Areas of particular expertise reside in front-line leadership training, creating a learning strategy to support diversity/inclusion initiatives, and how to help organizations integrate Talent Acquisition, Management and Development.
