Staffing Management Association of Southern New England President's Message It has been a pleasure to serve as the SMA Chapter President for the past 3 years. I'm especially proud of the programs we have offered to our membership and wish to thank the Board for their hard work and dedication, our Speakers and Sponsors, Members and Guests for all their support. Moving forward, we have a great line up for 2012 and I'm confident that Dorothy LeCoultre, incoming SMA President will drive programs and networking opportunities that will benefit our professional and personal lives. I plan to stay connected to the board as Past President and Board Member at Large and am excited about my new role with the Connecticut SHRM State Council as State Director Elect. Clearly, my association with SMA and participation on the board has paved the way for this next step in my commitment to the Human Resource Profession. I encourage you to join SMA and SHRM and volunteer for a SMA Board position. It is the best thing I've ever done!
