Manufacturing Day (First Friday in October) – visit www.mfgday.com if your company is interested in hosting an open house and take advantage of the resources available such as videos, a guideline on what makes a successful event, publicity surrounding your event once you register your event, etc.  You can also look up all available hosting businesses for the event for October in case you are interested in visiting one.

Join local high schools, technical schools, and college Advisory Boards!  Get involved, make connections!  Some local schools to consider include: Bristol Tech, Southington HS, Plainville HS, and Tunxis Community College.  Manufacturing training centers are currently located or being built at CT State Community Colleges.
